The 2TB version of C47 has a declared maximum bandwidth of up to 7400MB/s sequential read and up to 7000MB/s write. The read is about the maximum we can find in PCIe 4.0 x4 standard, while the writes could be better, but barely any SSD passes 7000MB/s, so it’s still great.

The SSD uses the Maxio MAP1602A-F3C controller and YMTC 3D TLC NAND, which makes it quite affordable and one of the least expensive TLC SSDs. Most available SSDs at this price point already have QLC NAND, which has much lower endurance. The 2TB version of the C47 SSD is rated at 1500 TB written, which is a lot for a typical home or office PC and comparable to the highest M.2 SSD series with TLC NAND.

The SSD arrived with a 0-hour counter in perfect condition. Below is a CrystalDiskInfo screenshot after some tests.

When we received it, the SSD’s firmware was the latest. TeamGroup provides a handy tool that checks S.M.A.R.T. status and gives us more diagnostic options.

The idle temperature is around 30°C, which is expected for this type of SSD. We can expect around 55°C during load with peaks up to 65°C if the SSD is installed on the laptop. TeamGroup provides a graphene heatsink, which lowers the temperature but is less significant than the marketing slides suggest. It’s still better than a regular label.
Hwinfo64 shows up to 54°C on our test rig with a typical tower-case airflow.

On the next page, we will show you the package contents.
