Conclusion and Verdict
Most chassis on the market that I’ve come across, do not offer any LCD panel kits, which is a shame. I just want something that can display my system’s health without having to worry about cabling, proprietry software or incompatibility with my cooling devices.
Since I’m using the Thermaltake’s Tower 500 Snow chasis, this LCD panel kit is perfect match. The 3.9″ screen is large enough to display all my system health information, and what’s more it’s fully compatible with Thermaltake’s TT RGB Plus 2.0 software.
The TT RGB 2.0 Plus software allows you to display real-time system information, can you can upload and plays JPG and GIF files with 128*480 resolution. Users can even show the time and weather information on the display too.
Installation is of course extremely simple. I just replace the original bottom panel found on the Tower 500 chassis with the LCD panel kit, connect up the USB cable and that’s it!
You can buy the Thermaltake LCD Panel Kit Snow Review (for The Tower 500) for around USD $99.99 from Amazon – https://amzn.to/3SEwejj
