Colorful suggests a 650-750W PSU for the RTX5070 series cards. In reality, it highly depends on the PSU quality, so the specifications assume the worst-case scenario. Since the card shouldn’t exceed 250W under high load, a good-quality 550W PSU is still more than fine. I mean 80+ Gold or higher series PSUs.

Like all RTX 5070 cards, the NB EX version has 12GB of GDDR7 memory and a 192-bit bus. This is expected in this range of graphics cards and should be enough for 1080p or 1440p gaming. Some titles may lack VRAM at 4K display resolution, but the best solution is to have a stronger GPU.

New Colorful graphics cards have a refreshed design but still the same high quality. We may or may not like the aesthetics, but we can’t deny that Colorful has a top-quality power design and cooling, no different from top-selling brands.

The card is 300.5mm long and two slots thick, so it should fit most smaller PC cases. The size is described as SFF, but we all know that’s just a marketing gimmick, as many SFF cases don’t have space for such long graphics cards.

The card has improved cooling and high-end fans. Even after overclocking, the fans never exceeded 100% speed as they didn’t have to. The cooling works well and is quiet, which is important nowadays.

The center fan spins in a different direction, promising better cooling. ASUS and Gigabyte use the same technology in their top graphics cards.

The cooler is designed to handle the heat of the GPU, power section, and memory chips, again, in a similar way to what we can see in top graphics card series nowadays.

The card is also equipped with RGB illumination. However, it’s not as spectacular as on higher models as the backlight has only the sign on the top of the card.

The RGB can be managed from the iGame Center software. The backlight has a full RGB range of colors.

The card has a single 16-pin power connector, but using a new PSU with a 12V-2×6 connector is recommended.
The card’s back has three DisplayPort and one HDMI port, which is quite typical for the RTX 5070 cards or most other modern gaming graphics cards.
