Package and its Contents
The packaging is a standard-size box that is well described and clearly states what we can find inside, and that’s the most important thing.
We won’t find much inside the box, but competitive brands offer as much. There is a quick user’s manual and a power adapter. It’s already a standard that drivers are not delivered with graphics cards. Once we get the card, drivers are usually outdated, so it’s always best to download the latest drivers from the manufacturer’s website.
The power adapter is in the refreshed 12V-2×6 standard, and we had no problems with it during tests. Since there is a lot of noise about the hot connectors, I only add that during the high load tests, we measured about 40°C on the hottest spot.
Colorful iGame Center Software
Colorful offers iGame Control software with all its graphics cards and motherboards. The software helps to manage RGB illumination, monitor hardware, and set additional options. However, it has problems with the support of other brand devices, so to set RGB illumination or some extra options on non-Colorful devices, we may need to use a different brand of software. On the other hand, ASRock, ASUS, Gigabyte, or MSI software can’t manage RGB illumination on Colorful graphics cards. The same applies to the RTX 5070 NB EX and the older RTX 4080 Advanced OC.
Drivers and software are available to download from the Colorful website.
We will look closer at the card itself on the next page.
