Conclusion and Verdict
In conclusion, the EVGA GeForce GTX 1660 SC Ultra Gaming Graphics is a solid option at an affordable price. Where does this put the 1660 Ti? I guess just a higher priced card with a few more Cuda cores but performs almost the same. Getting close to a saturation point? To many iterations of the same thing? Anyways take it for what its worth this card is cheaper and performs just as well. Even though there are only a few game titles that support Ray Tracing I would have like to have seen that on this card because it has the RAM to handle it. This card, by no means, is future proof but definitely performs well for the price. I would not say RTX is a necessity right now but I see this becoming a normal option for upcoming games. This isn’t on EVGA this is Nvidia and what they allow on their card iterations. Anyways this card performs well in all categories and you can find the 1660 Super to be one of the cheaper options!
Now for the Grit. Would I buy this over the similarly priced RX 570, RX 580, 1050 Ti, and 1650?……I am going to go with an uhhh, ya hands down, no questions asked . I can even justify buying this over the 1660 Ti. The performance is just there and you cant argue with results.
The EVGA GeForce GTX 1660 SC Ultra can be found on Amazon as well as various other retailers for around $232.99 USD.
