The EVGA RTX 2060 Super SC Ultra Gaming 8GB graphics card establishes EVGA’s commitment to bring to market the best version of the mid-range segment of graphics cards. Getting the equivalent performance of an RTX 2070 for a much better price is a step back in the right direction as far as price/performance progression is concerned. The card comes with EVGA’s signature iCX2 cooling, and boy does the cooler do its job well. The noise levels in relationship to the card’s thermals are perfect!
I am pleased to see the inclusion of a metal backplate, even though the card does not necessarily need it from a cooling standpoint. The metal backplate really does add to the overall aesthetics of the graphics card. I was also hoping for more RGB lighting presence, however there is none such here. Needless to say, these are just personal preferences and do not affect the performance of the card. More importantly, which is why this card is still an absolute winner. Well done EVGA!
