We have a surprise for you today! We are showcasing the EVGA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti FTW3 Ultra. This is the latest iteration of the Ampere processor and is based on the same GA104 silicon as the RTX 3070. We don’t have a lot of reference cards to test against but we have the best to test this card against. We have a RTX 2080 Super and a RTX 3070 to test this card against. Which is great because the 3060Ti should be able to beat the 2080 Super. This card should have a pretty comfy home in between the two. When I first read about the 3060Ti being able to beat the 2080 Super, I was excited to say the least. Why? Because I have been using the 2080 Super since release and the fact that this is the second generation of RT cores and the power draw is lower, which makes this card a must have upgrade from a 2080. On top of that The price. The price is almost half of the amount of scratch that was needed to get the 2080 at release. Unfortunately as we all know, the availability of these cards are non existent, which is a shame in itself. But EVGA has an extremely good seeding program to curve the scalper from buying multiple units at once.
