A Closer Look
Triple fans are installed on all air-cooled EVGA GeForce RTX 30 Series graphics card to optimize airflow, increase cooling performance, and reduce fan noise
Maximize the thermal contact surface area on graphics card components
- Airflow pockets allow air to move more freely through the heatsink to remove more heat.
- Patented copper base is 25% larger to cover both GPU and RAM area to improve thermal transfer and GPU/RAM cooling.
- New 180° heatpipe design with selectively positioned heatpipes increases fin contact area by 65% and optimal heat dissipation.
This card includes a fan header and a RGB header. The fan header is capable of matching the cards fan curve. This is extremely efficient and you can have a fan speed up as your graphics card heats up. Same for the RGB header you can easily sync your fans RGB lights to the cards profile. Keep in mind this will draw power from the card. So if your are looking for maximum overclock capabilities this will effect those results.
This card also features a bios switch. As far as I can tell the only thing this effects is the fan curve. This switch will not apply any extra MHz to the card. It Just applies a more aggressive fan profile if you plan on overclocking your card.
