Big shout out to Gigabyte for providing the beauty we get to highlight today! We have in our hands the GeForce GTX 1650 D6 WINDFORCE OC 4G. I was a big fan of the 1050Ti, actually my choice of cards that had performance and wasn’t going to cost me and arm and a leg. And that’s where I would put the 1650. Its right there like the 1050 was in the last generation. Only downside is that this card will not support Ray Tracing. But honestly as of right now it really hasn’t been utilized in games that would require us to have that feature on a card. That may change when Cyberpunk 2077 is released. We shall see! If your card doesn’t support Ray Tracing, you really aren’t missing out on much if you asked for my honest opinion. Now as far of price and having the latest and greatest, this card will give you the opportunity to get into PC gaming at a reasonable price. And trust me it will have very reasonable performance even on new titles. On the downside this card card is definitely not future proof. This card will one of the first iterations to show weakness in the near future. But in the meantime it will get the job done.
Gigabyte is long known for manufacturing some of the best iterations of the new chipset. I have owned several flavors over the years and have never been disappointed with the performance of any of those card I have personally owned. Gigabyte seems to have a pretty good grasp on what it takes to achieve superb performance and looks good while doing so!
