Test Setup & Benchmark Methodology
Our testing setup for this review includes the Intel i7 7700K processor, GIGABYTE Z270X Gaming 5 motherboard, 16GB (2 x 8gb kit) of Corsair Vengeance Elite 2666 MHz DDR4 memory, GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1080 Ti SC2 11GB (provided by GIGABYTE), Samsung 850 Evo 250GB SSD, as well as a Corsair RM1000X power supply. The NVIDIA drivers that were used were version 419.67. The latest BIOS available at the time of testing for the motherboard was also used (F9c). We will be testing the 3D performance using the latest benchmarking suites widely available to everyone.
