Packaging
The packaging for the GIGABYTE R9 290X OC WINDFORCE 3X graphics card is a medium-sized full-color cardboard box that sports a semi-glossy finish. The front of the package has the large GIGAEYE image with the company logo. Other information pertaining to the WINDFORCE cooling, graphics card model, memory and size, and overclocking are present and printed in large format for easy identification and reading.
The back side of the package has a very nice schematic of the WINDFORCE cooling technology and how it works. Also printed here are several of the main features in nine different languages.
The sides of the package simply display the really important information about the graphics card and would be visible if it so happens that these were stacked neatly on a retail shelf.

Inside the packaging resides a black box which houses a foam mold designed specifically to conform to this particular graphics card. The graphics card itself is protected with an anti-static bag. Underneath the graphics card is a sleeve that typically contains the software CD, warranty card, or other accessories. Our sample did not ship with these, however, your retail version will include said missing items.
