Overclocking
Using the OC GURU II software from GIGABYTE, we incrementally adjusted the clock speeds for both the core and the memory as well as the voltage (adjusting the memory voltage was not available). We then tested the overclock using Futuremark’s 3DMark software while checking for instability such as artifacts and crashes.
The final stable clocks that we were able to reach are 1100MHz for the core and 1475MHz for the memory. This translates into a 6% increase for the core and an 18% increase for the memory. These overclocks are not bad considering that this graphics card is already factory overclocked!
With the overclock applied, we decided to run the 3DMark Fire Strike test one more time to see if we could crack that 10K score mark. As you can see, we most certainly did that and then some!
And with that, we must bring this review to a close. Read on to the conclusion and verdict section of this review!
