Conclusion
After all the time I’ve spent while testing HIS R7 370 IceQ I can’t really say anything negative. The card is well designed, runs quiet and performs good.
HIS used premium components to make above average R7 370 and we see that especially while overclocking. Tested graphics card was able to overclock 30% above the boost clock what is a great result.
The only downside can be 2GB memory which for some new games in higher screen resolution can be not enough. At the same time we can ask a question if anyone would buy a cheaper graphics card for really high screen resolution ? For 4K displays there are other products while 2GB memory is good enough for the most popular 1080p.
As I already mentioned, R7 370 is not the highest performing graphics card, but it’s quite good if we take a look at performance to price ratio. HIS R7 370 IceQ 2GB graphics card cost about $160 what isn’t so much while can enjoy all new games and also future DirectX 12 which should be available soon.
Pros:
- Silent work
- Good performance to price factor
- Reasonable price for a gaming card
- Premium design
- High overclocking potential
Cons:
- Available only in 2GB version
Final words:
HIS R7 370 IceQ X² OC 2GB is well designed graphics card which is performing good so should satisfy all the gamers with lower budget. I can recommend it to all who wish to play new games but don’t really require the highest game settings. Also all who are thinking to gain couple of percent higher performance can take a closer look at HIS R7 370 as it offers good overclocking. At the end I will add again that card is really quiet and it’s also important.
HIS R7 370 IceQ X² is worth to receive FunkyKit’s Recommended Award !!
