Verdict and Conclusion
Let me tell you, this 7850 may not be one of the top of the line cards. But it can certainly hang with them.
You don’t get the huge framerates that come with the $500+ cards, but you do get the playability where you do not have to cut down on settings to have enjoyable framerates.
The amount of power that can be brought forth on a game is pretty darn impressive.
Overclocking the 7850 only brings out the real power of this card. I feel as though HIS has crippled the card though by leaving out voltage control. The fact that it can clock as far as it can on stock voltage is none the less impressive.
Even overclocked this card will stay nice and cool. The heatsink is very efficient and does its job very well.
Although it would have been nice if HIS included memory and VRM heatsinks.

At its current price, the HIS Radeon 7850 is right around the $240 mark. Compared to $500 cards, this is a solid bang for the buck. However, I really miss the days of top of the line cards being under $250.
Final words.
The Radeon 7850 hits the bang for the buck mark that gives great performance, yet does not leave you broke. I was really impressed with how well the card scaled with an increased frequency. This just goes to show how good the CGN architecture really is. Although I do feel like the card could have been so much more if it had voltage control.
