Conclusion and Verdict
After a long silence on the custom graphics cards market, HIS surprised me with a great graphics card that combines everything that gamers need. The RX5700 XT is fast, fully stable, looks terrific, is quiet, and overclocks well.
There were no problems with stability or overheating. HIS released its RX5700 a bit later than the competition but used this time well and released a product without design flaws like with could see in the case of MSI products or some other brands.
The only thing which some users wish to see is RGB lighting, as everything nowadays has RGB LEDs. It’s not a requirement, but it would be nice to see.
The RX5700 XT IceQX2 is currently not available in most popular stores. Since it’s a fresh product, then we will have to wait some days but it shouldn’t take long. MSRP is $439 so not much above the reference RX5700 XT.
HIS RX5700 series cards are covered by a two-year warranty so pretty typical for this kind of product.
Pros:
- High performance – significantly better than a reference card
- Quiet fans and low noise during work
- Reasonable power usage
- Interesting, high-quality design
- Passive fan mode at low GPU load
Cons:
- For some users can be lack of RGB lighting
Final words:
HIS RX5700 XT IceQX2 graphics card is an amazing graphics card that perfectly fits into gamers’ needs. Everything is on the highest level and delivers full stability during long gaming sessions. The card is also quiet and offers passive mode during low load.
HIS RX5700 RX IceQX2 is an exceptional graphics card that fully deserves our Editor’s Choice Award!
