Verdict & Conclusion
First off, let me talk about the aesthetics of the Inno3D iChill X4 GTX 1070. Even though the iChill cooling system is top notch, I personally prefer the use (and looks) of larger fans on a graphics card. The Scythe fans on the iChill X4 GTX 1070 has meant that the card is a little bit shorter than its competitors, making the insertion of the thumbscrews to hold in place on the PCI bracket so much easier, the slimness of the iChill X4 GTX 1070 belies the power of it. I mentioned the lack of controls for the illumination of the iChill logo, and this might not sit well with modders out there looking for a graphics card to match their system.
Performance-wise, the iChill X4 GTX 1070 just runs games superbly, which is also reflected in the benchmark results we got. Given the option of purchasing a GTX 1080 or the iChill X4 GTX 1070, due to my needs, I would probably opt for this card instead, without having the fork out a load more of my earnings. But there are faster GTX 1070 graphics cards out on the market, such as the ZOTAC GTX 1070 AMP Edition, costing a little more giving you maybe 3% more power…..that’s something for you to decide on.

Overall, the iChill X4 GTX 1070 is a very good graphics card that will not be out of place in gaming PC. It is just one of those gems that you know is powerful enough for you to through everything at it, yet it goes about doing it’s job in a quiet way. After doing this review, I have now got the bug to get a GTX 1070…..
