MSI GeForce RTX 2060 VENTUS 6G OC Graphics Card Review

Box and Packaging

Nothing special here. Just the graphics card itself and an envelope containing the quick start guide and drivers disc.

A Closer Look

The graphics card is surprisingly small and compact, and should fit in most chassis and cases. The card has one 8-pin PCIE power connector but no connector for NVLink, which means you can’t run two of these cards together.

I was a little disappointed with the lack of a metal backplate. Although at first glance, backplate looks good, it is in fact made from plastic, and it could be a problem if you overclock the card over a long period of time.

It also features a large heatsink with copper heat pipes cooled by dual TORX 2.0 fans. For connectivity, there’s 3 Displayport and 1 HDMI which is more than enough for most users.

Installation

No issues with installation. The size of the card is fairly compact and should fit in most cases.
