1920×1080, maximum details, tessellation enabled
For Civilization V I used maximum possible details and results as you may see are really solid. HD7870 will bring lot of fun if you like strategy type of games.
FarCry 3
I used this game for testing as it’s probably one of the most demanding games on the market. It’s easy to see that ultra settings won’t be much fun as it often slows down below 25FPS.
Even though I had to change profile to high details instead of ultra, game didn’t lose much on image quality. I haven’t seen special difference in quality but FPS is noticeably higher.
I can say that optimal settings for HD7870 will be high details with MSAA AA x4 or x2 enabled.
