Verdict and Conclusion
In conclusion, the performance of the ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1080 Ti is truly awesome. It’s significantly faster than the GTX 1080 and it’s the fastest card we’ve tested in our labs (until we get the chance to take look at the Titan Xp). It produced excellent scores in all of our benchmarks and tests.
You’ll notice thathe GTX 1080 Ti’s available on the market feature more vram. The larger 11GB of GDDR5X ram is an added bonus and will help with gamers who want to run their games at full 4K resolution.
Performance aside, the higher load temperatures could be a concern for gamers and users. Although Zotac’s Ice Storm and Freeze Tech did an adequate job, I feel that ZOTAC should have added a better cooler to help with the cooling.
One thing I have to say, and it’s directed at Nvidia. I, like most users do feel a little annoyed with the frequent releases of new GPUs (2 new releases within 4 months). Titan X and GTX 1080 owners are directed affected and suffering as a result. So the question is… willthey release something new (again) after AMD launches the Vega? And other rant over…
Ok, pricewise the ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1080 Ti is being sold on Amazon for around USD $699, which is what we expected. Buy now at Amazon – https://goo.gl/NzMW3N.
Final Thoughts:
The ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1080 Ti offers incredible performance, and there’s nothing quite like it out there, when it comes to performance at this price range ($699).
If you already own an GeForce GTX 1080 or Titan X, save your money and wait for Nvidia’s next release. However, if you own a GTX 1060 or 1070 and are planning for a big upgrade, then the ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1080 Ti is one card you definitely want to consider.
