Every video-taking capable device seems to be able to record in 4K nowadays, but the uptake in 4K displays has been slow. Starting off with professional cameras, then trickling down to ‘enthusiasts’ cameras, 4K has slowly made its way down to action cameras.
Today we will be taking a look at the WiMiUS L1 4K action camera, to see if a budget action camera’s 4K capabilities are any good.
Equipped with Novatec chip and Sony IMX078 image sensor, L1 supports high video resolution up to 4K 24fps, which is about 4 times of 1080P, allowing you to shoot a video comparable to the film!
Capture your world clearer! Build in with Sony IMX078 image sensor, you can shoot real-color and clear photos anywhere with 20 high resolution. Time to show off to the whole world!
With 170° super-wide angle, L1 will expand your horizons. When you unbox L1, you unbox your world!
24fps at 4K….its a little low when you consider that you will want to take some fast action footage with your action camera, but sometimes quality overcomes frames per second, and we will see if the L1 can do just that.
Technical Specifications
One of the stand out specifications of the WiMiUS L1 is its form factor. We are all used to seeing action cameras with a ‘GoPro’ form factor, but many manufacturers are now moving away from this shape and size such as the SJCAM M20. Buy now at Amazon for USD $79 – https://goo.gl/hEkK6o.

Pretty cool, the price and set of features, compared to competition, is very enticing. At a fraction of a cost you can technically get 4 of these and set up multiple filming angles. Thank you for this comprehensive review, Wing.
