Installation
Over the past few years, I noticed on a lot of premium chassis, a number of manufacturers have started to get rid of the 5.25″ brackets for CD/DVD drives. I guess there isn’t a need for CD/DVD drives on premium chassis anymore. This means there’s plenty of room for extra cooling, as well as the ability to mount your hard drives in various positions within your chassis.
As far as the 805 Infinity is concerned, there’s plenty of room inside. I was able to install the massive Zotac GeForce GTX 1080 AMP Extreme Edition with no issues at all. What’s more I was able to fit the monstrous Noctua NH-D15 CPU cooler with ease.
The Halo software
The front panel features a customizable RGB lighting effect using LED strips and a mirror. The reflection is an illusion that displays endless rows of LED lights fading into the darkness … this effect is referred to as the “Infinity Mirror”. This is controlled by their own software called “HALO” which you can download from their website.
